Mimi Lam
Mimi Lam (she/her/hers) is an actor combatant and filmmaker based in Washington D.C. and Baltimore. Recently, she directed the documentary, Flexing On Cancer, through the DC Filmmakers' Make a Movie in a Month project. She received her MFA in Acting from Brooklyn College.
During her undergraduate years at Allegheny College, she studied Mathematics and Filmmaking, with a focus on documentary filmmaking. Even though she has moved on to pursue acting, she brings her eye in cinematography and detail-oriented mind from mathematics.
Her goal is to tell the stories of her Vietnamese family, culture, and community.
