Mimi Lam
Mimi Lam (she/her/hers) is an actor combatant and filmmaker based in Washington D.C. and Baltimore. She is also the founder of DC Stage Society, where industry professionals come to the DC, Maryland, Virginia area to teach acting audition workshops and speak on panels.

Recently, she directed the documentary, Flexing On Cancer, through the DC Filmmakers' Make a Movie in a Month project. She received her MFA in Acting from Brooklyn College.
During her undergraduate years at Allegheny College, she studied Mathematics and Filmmaking, with a focus on documentary filmmaking. Even though she has moved on to pursue acting, she brings her eye in cinematography and detail-oriented mind from mathematics.
Her goal is to tell the stories of her Vietnamese family, culture, and community.
