My name is Mimi Lam, and I am a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer based in Kensington, MD. My love for fitness came from being in high school sports, including softball, track and field, and cross country. That experience allowed me to have discipline in my own training, and motivated me to help others do the same. My sister has mild intellectual disability, and I would always take her with me to the gym or we would do at-home workouts. My sister inspires me every day, and she's the reason I believe that everyone deserves to live a healthy life. My goal is to strive for inclusivity, create a fun, positive environment, and make it about progress, not perfection. In addition to Personal Training, I also act and perform stage combat.
